Cannot cpmplete business on PM order
Strategy plan- Automatic operation selection in tasklist
Dear PM Experts,
I have a requirement in strategy plan, where the strategy plan MIX_TRUCK which has 1M, 3M, 6M & 1Yr(Heirarchy-1) time based cycles.
Now i have a tasklist CON_TRUCK, which consist of all operations which covers all time cycles (1yr, 6M, 3M&1M)
I assigned this taskist & strategy plan to maintenance plan MIX_TR.
Now currently whenever the maintenance order created from this maintenance plan MIX_TR, all the operations in the task list are selected.
But my requirement is to select some operations for 1yr, and another set of operations for 6M, and different set for 3M.
Is it possible with configurable tasklist? If not is there any other alternate method to achieve?

I am trying to make an refurbishment order in that valuation type field for the material being refurbished is not coming against from plant in refurbishment tab. Also against the quantities under material i am not getting the object push button. Can any one help me with customization path to get both of these inputs. i have attached screen shot for same.

How to evaluate material delivery performance based on standard reports?
Hi
In my organisation we have discussions that material is not deliverd on time ordered through a PM Work Order. I would like to evaluate the performance to get a objective analysis. My first thoughts are:
- Take a list of released work orders in a certain period (e.g. last month)
- LIst the materials used on those work orders
- Compare the requested delivery date for the material (on PR) with the PO creation Date and Goods Receipt Posting Date.
Since there is no standard report for it, what reports could i use to combine for this analysis?

I have a requirement where I have to change account assignment for about 100,000 assets using eCATTS. The problem is if I change the account assignmment then there is an automatic posting of an FI transfer document, which I can disable in the above path, but I am not sure what consequences I would have by disabling auto FI doc post. I have read the help note several times but cannot check verify the impacts of the above change.
If I keep the above setting on, then it is taking forever to change the account assignment.

I would like to set default values to the shift factors fields and to the call horizon in IP01.

Components 261 in Service Repair Order
We are using CS repair order process. 2 Components are entered in the repair order, and backflush is ticked.
The repair order has been confirmed and TECO'd.
Upon checking, only 1 of the component cost was moved to actual , while the other 1 is still under planned.
Displayed confirmation (IW43) shows only 1 of the component in the goods movement.
How will I see if there are any error message logged?
How do I check if there were any error messaged when it was trying to issue via 261?
How do I move the cost from plan to actual without cancelling the confirmation?
control key in PM order to set default
Dear All,
We have 7 order types for which control key is set as PM01 as default. We want to set control key as default to one of the order type as PM03 for external services. as i create PM order the default value should be PM 03. Is there any customization that is missing???
I have maintained control key for each order type. Plz refer below screen shots for reference.

Work center hierarchy vs work orders
HI friends,
My requirement is being a supervisor level i want to see all my work orders and the Work orders who works under me as well.
Explanation: to meet the above, i have created different work centers and prepared work center hierarchy,like Mechanical dept as one work center under this again i created Mechine center as work center and under this i have creted 2 more work centers "MECHINE1 and MECHINE2"
please see the below screen shot
I am responsible for the work center "MEC1" and the work orders created with MEC1 i want to view and in the same way those work orders created with work center "MECENTER" also i want to view because this work center is under me (I am responsible for MEC1 Work center).
and it should not be vice versa (some 'X' person is responsible for work center (MECENTER) and he should not view work orders created with "MEC1"work center.
So work center hierarchy will make the work order restriction at work center level.
Could you please provide suggestions to get the solution.

Planned /actual cost report in iw31
Hi Gurus
Is there any method to see individual component cost while creating order (IW31) in pm. I tried with planned/cost report button on the cost tab by including material and material text in the layout, but when I execute the material and text is blank and I am unable to see individual material wise cost.

Permit in PM Order
Hi Gurus
We have controlled the total cost in PM order in order type PM01 by applying the permit method, but now we have found the users can override this control by the method given below.
IW31 - While creating the order the user enters the component "ABCD" with qty 5 nos. The order value exceeds the amount in permit specified .
The user then changes the qty to 2 and now the value of the order is within the specified permit limit and the system allows the user to release the order. After releasing the order and without saving the user goes back to the component tab and changes the qty to 5 nos and saves the order.
Even though the order is released , and the qty is changed, the system should check the permit value and should not allow the user to save
the order.
Is there any method to over come this issue. Pls help

Maintenance Plan schedule
Hi Team,
I have a requirement wherein the customer wants to schedule particular tasks in a task list on specific days of the week / month; for e.g. task 1 to be scheduled every Sunday and task 3&4 to be scheduled every 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month.
They want to have a single Maintenance Plan with a single task list and a single factory calendar as well.
Please suggest as to how I can achieve this requirement.

Error Message While Maintaining Measuring Point Additional Data
Hi,
I am activating condition based maintenance through available user exist.
But system is not allowing me to enter upper and lower range values with decimals such as 0.2 to 0.1 or -0.2 to -0.4. While entering these values, system shows an error message as "Value can't be interp. as floating-point number or longer than 22 charac. Message no. BF020"
Please advise what should I do?

Add Multiple Characteristics to a Equipment
Hi,
How can we add multiple charecteristics to the same class within a equipment. Lets say i have an equipment with class Software assigned to it and i have to add the following charecteristics to it -
