warranty Processing in Maintenance Order

Hello All

I have made all related settings for Warranty processing in SPRO under Plant maintenance and Customer Service.

The below data maintained in Equipment master:

When I create a order and assign the reference object, system displays below dialog box containing warranty information, however it doesn't display complete details of valid services within the Warranty master .

But when I enter into the order and follow path: Extras-->Reference object-->warranty Information below details about services in warranty master displayed. I want to have this details automatically popped up at the order creation screen i.e. within the above dialog box. Is it possible. What additional settings are involved.

Task List - Changing the Group Counter

Hi,

 

We have a Task List, for example Group TEST and Group Counter 1, which has numerous operations. This has created first.

 

Then is it possible to change the Group Counter 1 to Group Counter 2, where we cannot miss the operations which we had in counter 1 earlier.

 

Is this possible.

Automatic Settlement rule assignment in maintenance order change

Hello everyone;

 

I have a problem on settlement rule assignment on change of the maintenance order. I'll write down the steps I do and will tell the problem on the corresponding step.

 

1- Creating a maintenance order (IW31) with an equipment number 40000000. 40000000's cost center is 444444444.

2- Make a settlement rule by clicking the "Settlement rule" button with "DEFAULT", so it will get the cost center from the equipment's master data.

3- Release and save.

4- Changing the equipment number on the maintenance order (IW32), entering 50000000 and its cost center in the master data is 555555555.

5- Maintenance order is changed but settlement rule is not changed. It should have 555555555 cost center for both lines for FUL and PER. But it still got 44444444 as a cost center for both lines. Still got the old value.

 

How can I let maintenance order's settlement rule to update itself everytime that it changes? Is there any automatic settlement rule update?

After quality usage decision when automatically service order is getting created it does not have serial number data.

How can I do Settelment by Operation level / Sub Operation levels separatetly?

 

Can I do settelment by material ? If so plz explain me how to do this?

Costing for Operations Work Order (PM)

Hi all,

 

I need to capture each operations work order's cost. Any idea on how to go about this.

 

I managed to find the details of the operations work order from table AFVC based on the task list number but now i need to tag the costing to it.

The requirement is to provide a statistical cost report by the respective work center assigned in each task.

Table status changes

hi Gurus,

 

i really appreciate with all your support.

 

now can some one help us in knowing how the table status will be changed to ACTIVE to PARTIAL ACTIVE.

 

as in our project tables like aufk,adrc are automatically reverting their status from active to Partial active, really dont know what is the reason and business is critically effected as this has impacted the performance

LSMW -Measuring Point Lower limit set as zero

Hi,

 

I am cretting measuring points through LSMW and while uploading the data i found that system is not updating the value of lower range limit in Additional data Tab.i have gone through suggestion given by experts to flag the Negative Vals Allowed in Characteristic basic data but our business persons are not ready for flagging field  Negative Vals Allowed as they do not want to allow any negative Value.

 

Is there any solution to create the measuring points with upper and lower limit without flagging  Negative Vals Allowed in characterisitc.Please note that business person has to create measuring points in huge numbers so we cannot suggest them to create manually with Transction Code IK01.

COGI-Non editable entries

Hi,

 

In COGI I find some non-editable greyed out PM SKU entries which are traced back to PM orders. But the 261 Goods movement date does not match with the COGI date. How can these be removed without disturbing the PM order cost?

Hi All,

 

At one of the client number of notification is in bulk for which orders are not created for any reason from last 1 year.

 

how this kind of notification are handle in other companies .. whether they close all after some specific time or the remain open in system.

Hi All,

 

With reference to following thread I wanted just a confirmation what i understood is correct or not

If Plan is monthly starting from 01/10/2013 and completion requirement is ticked

after scheduling the work order is closed lets say on 10/10/2013 in dthis case when will be next plan will scheule

on 01/11/2013 or 10/11/2013.

Dear Experts,

I'm configuring Asset Pool Management, for fleet management.

In fleet planning board (PAM03 transaction) i'm trying to assign  notification (requirement) to vehicle. But the system giving error "Functional location XXXX does not exist Message no. IL100".

I have activated alternate functional location.

I checked the notes relevant for this error and no result.

Please suggest me a solution.

Serial number management in Equipments

Hi Friends,

 

My requirement is "I received a serialized material from warehouse,then system should prompt me for the serial number,i entered it and save, then Equipment record is created,the classification from the material is copied into the Equipment (Create Equipment with reference to the material master record)

can we do it in standard configuration,if yes please provide me the configuration document.

Dear Experts,

 

My client requirement is to fill cost center in maintenance order automatically.

This cost center shall be inherited from equipment master, if equipment field is populated in maintenance order. But in standard, it is always get populated automatically from work center.

Please provide a solution.

Dear experts

 

If I have 1000 work breakdown orders than how to identify which need to be done on week wise planning ahead so that we have work centers availability according to that. What is standard way in SAP. is there any other way with your experience?

Secondly if we how to see all of them in one screen in standard SAP ?

Reschedule of Partially Confirmed WOs

Hi Experts,

I would like to get your help for the following :

I have created a PM Work order with single operation, that operation has been completed partially through IW41.Now the constraint i am facing to reschedule the WO for future.When ever i am putting the basic start date in future which is very true because i have to complete the remaining work in future & pressing the Schedule icon system wont allow me to plan the activity in future.

 

May i know how can I plan the remaining activity in future.I don't want to deselect the automatic scheduling Indicator.Also please note that I would like to calculate the Basic finished date automatically after pressing the schedule button.
