Multiple equipment in single Notification ?

Hi Experts,

 

 

 

 

 

Can we club multiple equipment in single notification ?  Like on one particular functional location, I have 2000 equipment  and maintenance dept create notification manually  for 800 equipments. Please share reply in both scenario in same functional and in different functional location.


I tried to search but did not found anything specific in more details.

Interface for notification and work order

I have a requirement from the client wherein I have to design a Solution Design Document based on the following inputs:-

Please can you help me with it as this is the first time that I am involved with designing a Solution Design Document.


 

The following processes would be followed for new maintenance requests in a month:-

1.The Manager creates files for planned maintenance using the equipment/functional location reference that was provided to him

2.Per line of the excel, the interface program will create a notification to record the maintenance history.Also a work order will be created per line item of the notification to record the planned  and actual cost

The planned cost would be entered as a service line item.

3.A PO would be created per file and each Excel line would be a new PO Line Item and the account assignment would be the relevant order / operation number(which was recorded by the interface) that was previously created.

4.After this the interface would perform the GR/service entry sheet.Upon approval of the GR/service entry sheet, invoice would be created in the system.

5.After the GRN / Service entry is complete, all work that is marked as completed would have their respective work orders and notification Technically completed.

The following process will be followed for on-going work:

 

1. If work is on-going / not completed during the month end then the creation of the notification and work order would proceed as above.

 

2. The PO would be created as per above but at the time of GRN / Service entry the entry

would not be marked as complete

 

3.The list of on-going work orders would be interfaced back to manager after they are created

 

4. The manager would then reference the WO in the next month’s upload and the interface would not recreate the work order / notification, it would only capture the new GRN / Service entry as well as any changes to the planned costs

 

5.This process would be repeated until the work is marked as completed on the manager.

 

Please can you also provide an Excel output to be forwarded to the manager containing the Maintenance plan with plan item
reference and values.

 

 

 


 

 

Labor cost-Refurbishment order

Hello All,

 

We have a scenario in refurbishment order:

 

Valuation --V (Moving Average Price) is maintained in Material Master.

 

C1-New------------------> Rs.100------->stock --> 1qty

C2-Damaged----------> Rs.0.01------> stock---> 1qty

C3-Refurbished------->

 

We have created a refurbishment order for the above material from (C2 to C3)  and have confirmed a labor cost of Rs.250/- (5hrs).

Then posted the material through IW8W but the  actual cost is not updated in  the material master.

 

When we had a look in the material master accounting view 1 against ( C3 valuation type) the stock is updated to 1qty, but the moving average price is

shown as Zero .(its not updated)

 

Could you please assist me to fix this issue.

Dear Gurus

 

 

I have got a scenario in Preventive maintenance area.

 

 

Strategy = Workhour

 

Scheduling Indicator = Activity

 

Strategy Unit =H

 

Call horizon=37%

 

Factory calendar is not assigned

 

Maint Packages used in Equipment task list are=

 

Operation 0010 is marked for package one i.e.6000 H

 

Operation 0020 is marked for package two i.e. 10000 H

 

Operation 0030 is marked for package three i.e.18000 H

  

For the Equipment counter info

 

Annual estimate = 8760.00H

Activity per day =24H

As on today last counter reading reached  =6000.00H

 

   

Maintenance plan scheduling parameters 

Call horizon=37%

Scheduling Period is 5YRS

Completion Requirement is not marked

 

After Scheduling this maintenance plan I have got following results.

This time required  is for procurement of materials and alocation of resources.

 

To achieve this requirement what settings i need to correct.

OLIX and MCIZ reports not updating in Fleet management

Hi Friends,

 

I have done the required config for Fleet management which is part of PM module,but while executing the OLIX and MCIX reports,data is not getting updated.

could you please suggest me why this is happening,however still i need any config settings as i am new to this Fleet management.

Please throw light on this which is very critical for me

Archiving PM_ORDER: PM/CS order hierarchy

Hi,

 

In SCN query: http://scn.sap.com/message/14284154 it is clear that once the deletion indicator is set on all PM orders of an hierarchy, a subset of orders in the hierarchy can be archived using PM_PRDER, leaving behind other orders in the same hierarchy. So my question is - is it safe to archive a subset in this way ? Or it may create an inconsistency in the system ? We had archived almost 1 million PM orders using PM_ORDER without any inconsistency. This shows that standard archiving object PM_ORDER takes care of this issue. Still wanted to confirm to be 100% sure.

Equipment Usage History

Hi,

 

i want to view the complete usage history of an equipment, since the time it is created in the system.

Is this supported by Standard SAP or i need to create a customized report for this?

 

If yes then what is the procedure .

 

I'm checking T-codes IE07 & IH03 for seeing the equipment List editing display and structural list respectively.

 

Also If a new equipment is installed in the position of old equipment then  i want to view the history of old equipment.

 

Looking for the quick responce.

Hi,

 

Could you please help me in understanding how to find the list of sub-equipments which were installed on an Equipment in the past.

For example:

Period: 01/2011 to 12/2011

Equipment E1 has sub equipments E1-1 and E2-1.

Period: 01/2012 to 12/2012

Equipment E1 has sub equipments E1-2 and E2-2.

 

Then how can I find that in last two years E1 had E1-1, E2-1, E1-2 and E2-2 installed. Thanks.

Which is good module combination with SAP EAM-PM ?

Hi Experts,

 

 

 

 

Just wanted to know thoughts and opnion on this which one is good combination with SAP EAM-PM ? I am not asking this from great combination or SAP PM market demand with other module point of view. I am willing to learn something which closely related to PM in which I require less effort to learn other module.Which has almost similar, common concept like SAP EAM-PM.

 

I mean which is easy to learn and and have a add on too.

 

However this depend on person to person which area want to explore some consultant prefer to work in one area , some prefer to have multiple module cross functional consultant. OR should move to in one direction in EAM with other sub module or add-on like SAP EAM-PM ,SAP LAM,SAP WCM,SAP MRO,SAP MRS, SAP MAM etc complete EAM stuff.

 

 

 

Please share openly your suggestion and thoughts

PM Selection of Orders

I'm trying to get IW38 to display only orders that contain both "(R*)" and "A1"

 

I am able to change the description field by entering *(R*)* and *A1* which will display readings that contain

EITHER "(R*)" OR "A1" in their description field. I need to be able to display only values that contain BOTH "(R*)" AND "A1" in their description field.

 

 

Any help is appreciated.

check list in work order operation

Greetings,

 

We are using SAP ECC6 EHP4;

Currently, check list is maintained in document and that is attached in task list screen under PRT.
Whenever work order is created for that task list through Maintenance plan, this document would be populated in wok order under operation PRT tab.

 

Now I have new requirement from business to bring actual check list in opertaion of work order. This is to avoid paper.


SDN links suggetsed to do as follows;


Create Measuring points
Assign Measuring points as a PRT to task list
Create Catalog profile with Valuation code (e.g OK, Not OK etc)
Create plan and assign task list
Generate Maintenance order.
Pass valuation code in measuring document.

 

Please suggest in this regard in detail what need to be done in each step.

Extracting Transaction Parameters

Hi all,

 

Is there any way to extract the data retrieved from executing a transaction, in addition to the parameters that were used to execute it?

 

I run quite a lot of transactions and analyse the data from them, and to ensure that my analysis is correct I need to be certain of the parameters that I used to extract the data. At the moment, I just document all of that information manually. Surely there has to be a better way?

bulk of pending Notification not convetred to Orders

Hi All,

 

At one of the client number of notification is in bulk for which orders are not created for any reason from last 1 year.

 

how this kind of notification are handle in other companies .. whether they close all after some specific time or the remain open in system.

IK12 - Measurement document: how to prevent the reversal indicator reset?

Could you, please, give me a piece of advice regarding measurement document cancellation.

 

In the SAP ERP system you can cancel measuring document in IK12 - setting up the reversal indicator.

There is additional function available: the reset of the reversal indicator.

 

For some reason, we need to disable for end users the possibility of resetting the reversal indicator of the measuring documents.

 

Any idea how we can do that?
