Serialized Equipment AVLB status to ESTO

"Ideally While installation IE4N system issue the serialized equipment from store with status ESTO in warehouse and after installation system status of serialized equipment changes to ASEQ and stock is reduced simultaneously.

 

In case of dismantle IE4N serialized equipment change status from ASEQ to ESTO and the stock is updated in warehouse.".  this is the ideal case and generally the same happens.

 

 

 

But Now while dismantle serialized equipment status is showing AVLB from ASEQ while it should be ESTO and its not updated in stock in warehouse.

 

So Please help how this system status can be changed to ESTO and update stock accordingly.

Work Order - Responsible Cost Center Field

Hi,

 

I want to find  out if I can make the responsible cost center field for just one  work order type uneditable, why the other work order types' responsible cost center field will be editable.

 

At the moment all the word order types have the responsible cost centre field to be uneditable.  I however need only one word order type to be editable.

 

Your response will be highly appreciated.

Sub Equipment status

Hi Experts,

 

I have a superior equipment having 2 sub-equipments installed. the status of sub-equipments are ASEQ(Allocated to superior equipment) and ESTO(In the warehouse), Even after the superior equipment installed to a Functional location the status of sub-equipments still remains ASEQ, ESTO. Please let me know the standard functionality is it like this?or is there any thing to set to have installed status for sub-equipments?

Cannot install at Functional Location

Dear Experts,

 

I have created PRT Equipment Category (P) and from the Change Transaction (IE02)  I cannot install this in a FL.

I have ticked Installation at functional location permitted in IMG

What would be the missing config Please help.

Forbiding Entry of Future Basic Start date in Breakdown order type

How can I go about forbidding a user from entering a future date when creating a breakdown PM order as a breakdown would always occur in the past when ever the user is creating an order?

I have a system where the menu options for FLoc Re-label functionality have been disabled.

 

I have checked but cannot find any Transaction or screen variants (via SHD0).

 

Can anyone provide advice on where or what to look for??

max no of hierachy level in Functional Location

  Hi PM Guru,

1. when i tri to create a FL, system give a error msg that "30 places are available for the functional location label. However, the label that you    entered is 31 characters long".


2. can anybody explain the max no of hierachy level posible for FL.

Scheduel call item - New start Called

Hi ,

 

In Maintenance Plan -schedule call item showing  Plant date 10.09.2015 and Schedule type Status as  "New Start Called". But there is no workoder generated for this call.

 

"Called" means workorder generated right.

 

Initially Package is 3 Years.

 

Plant date : 10.09.2015

 

On 01.07.2015 From Fixed to Called.

 

On 17.05.2015   3 year Package deleted and changed into 4 year package.

 

Why there is no workorder. How to check reason for WO not created.

 

Kindly help to find it. Since status is "Called" - user asking where is the Workorder.

Hai ,

I want to add one customised field i.e. COSTCENTER in transaction IFCU,

If we enter CostCenter it should take the given costcenter ,

otherwise it has to take default cost center upon saving.

 

How to add a new customised field in Transaction 'IFCU' in Screen number 200 ????

 

i have checked there is no userexits and BADIS for 'IFCU'.then what is the procedure to add.

Time - key date Scheduling Indicator in Maintenance Plan

Hi All -

 

What is the purpose of assigning a Factory Calendar (as a required field) when we choose the 'Time-key date' indicator in a Maintenance Plan? It seems that the system will schedule a Preventive Maintenance order on a Sat/Sunday/holiday if we don't have a Factory Calendar assigned in the associated Work Center. I would assume that, even if we don't a Factory Calendar assigned in the Work Center, the system would not schedule an order on a Sat/Sunday/holiday because the Factory Calendar is assigned in the Maintenance Plan itself.

How important is Plant section?

Hi experts,

 

We are currently using PM for one department only (for our main business). Now we are planning to extend PM to other departments also.

During interaction with end user, we felt that Plant section is not really required and M. Plant+location only can solve our purpose.

How important is plant section? Can we do without it? What type of data is accrued to it?

 

Please explain.

Unable to find storage locations in Maintenance / service order

Hi All,

 

This is a query regarding the storage location not getting updated in refurbishment order in the component tab. As a practice task list should be attached in order but our user process is of slight vary. Pls find the process.

  

1. Create Maintenance Notification.

2. Attach task list in Notification & Save. 

3. Create refurbishment order.

4. Linking of notification to refurbishment order through objects tab.

5. All the task list gets incorprated in operations tab.

 

 

We able to get the components linked in task list. But we are unable to get the storage locations of the same components.

  

Pls help on providing the solution. Also let me know in case of any further inputs on the same.

regarding IP24 report ?

Dear Guru's,

 

I want to know about the report of T-code IP24, T-code IP41  maintain Call horizon like 90 % with this we know the date of this plan like our plan date is 17/09/2015 (as in screen shot), but my call date is 14/09/2015 that is one part while i create single cycle plan and and after release it.

but my question is in IP24 report can we see this call date with this we can plan the maintenance 3 days before if that CALL DATE appear in IP24 report. is that possible?

No operation listed after clicking Operation Button in IW38 list

Hi PM Guru,

 

After running  IW38,  if clicking Operation button, It is supposed to list all of the operations under the selected orders.

 

But it is nothing there.

There is no warning or error message there.

PAM03 Counter Issue

We have been using Motor Pool successfully for 3 years, however a new requirement has come up. Currently all the counters in the pool are DISTANCE.  My users would like me to set up a new pool with equipment using TIME as the counter (Hours).  My question, is it possible to use both DISTANCE and TIME counters at the same time? I am getting the no suitable counter found error.  From what we can tell, the system goes to table T370POS and which ever position has a usage of 1, that is the measurement position that it searches for.  It looks as though you can only use DISTANCE or TIME but not both.

Problem in wcm object

Dear Gurus,

 

Need Support on below queries for Application Profile of setting of SAP WCM.

 

1. Will the validity determine the ability to report on the WCM object? IF for example we limited this to a # of days, after that # of days we would no longer be able to search for this WCM object through the multi-list edit?

 

2. If we made WCDs valid for X # of days, what happens if the validity needs to be extended? And if you use it but put in a meaningless endpoint like 12/31/9999, is this a waste of time or does it allows documents to be stored & retrieved regardless of status> If so, then endpoint should always default to 12/31/9999 unless otherwise changed for some good business reason.

New dates for Work orders due to delay in Processing first order

Hi Experts ,

    I need some clarification on the Maintenance Order date rescheduling, due to a delay in processing the first order.

Say initially, based on the specified parameter into "Maintenance plan Scheduling parameters" tab, while doing IP10/IP30 system will create 12 orders (for 12 months, starting from 01.09.2015).

Now as per my knowledge, If there's a delay in completing the first order(due on 01.10.2015) , system will look for the values into Tolerance and Shift factor fields and determine the date for next order start date.

Here my quarry is, since system has already created 12 orders in advance (with planned dates) ,how and where the impact of delay could be seen on the upcoming orders??

How system will automatically create new dates for all orders , based on the no. of delay days from first order ?? Do I need to run IP10/IP30 again to get new dates ?? Please advise...this part is not clear to me ..
