Hi,
A preventive maintenance order was initiated by system on 15-6-2013 based on its reoccurrence time with Frequency 30 Months
Now since machine is running smooth therefore we don’t want to carryout this preventive maintenance on this call.
When i try to skip the call message appear at bottom of screen as "Call can no longer be skipped". Double click on message shows:
"
Since maintenance call objects, for example, maintenance orders, already exist for the dates that have been called, you can no longer skip a date within the scheduling process.
"
Below are the two scenarios we want to opt for this machine.
1. We want to run the machine for six months and then we would carryout its preventive maintenance. Is there any option to postpone the maintenance plan call time for 6 months and the order would re-trigger after 6 months?
2. We want to run the machine to symptomatic failure i.e., machine will keep on running for indefinite time and if some problem symptom arises, we would do its overhauling. In that case is there any option to postponed the order for indefinite time and recall it at the time of overhauling to punch the actual overhauling date for onward timer?
The objective of aforementioned points is to utilize the maximum life of the spares.
Please provide inputs.
Thanks
