When we print Orders through IW38/IW72, the shop papers printed are not in sequence of the Order number.
We have four shop papers Y001, Y002, Y003, and Y004 as default for the Order type set in configuration.
For example, if we print for Order numbers 500000, 500001, 500002, 500003, 500004, 500005, 500006, 500007, 500008, 500009, 500010, ------- etc. for the shop papers Y001, Y002, Y003, and Y004 which was set as default,
We receive the output of prints of shop paper not in sequential of Order list, it gets mixed. Out put as follows,
The print out is not in sequence of Order numbers,
We need the output as,
The Print out put should be in sequence of Order numbers.
Is this possible, Kindly advice.

Operations are not read , only header data is read.

All fields auto mapped but the identifier keys IDENT are not mapped with any target field. Should this be mapped ?

How to Handle following scenario,
On a Preventive Maintenance three work centers are working on one equipment lets say Mechanical, Electrical & Process control.
The requirement is when the PM orders will be created they should be associated with each other means work order for Mechanical should not closed unless and until electrical or Process control closed there work order.
We can achieve this in break down maintenance by creating a Suborder but how to configure Maintenance Plans that work order will be generated as a sub order or any other option that can handle above scenario.

I have one general Task List for Pumps.I would like to use this task list for all Pumps associated in Maintenance Items.
Mine constraint is that some of the Maintenance Items need spare replacement and some are not.May in know how can i manage to achieve this.
I know can get it through the Configurable task list.But I am intended to know that is there any other way to get it done with Standard SAP Functionality.

In a maintenance item, there are several objects (functional locations) for an oiler to do a lubrication route, as an example. I want to be able to list/print the functional locations and I believe it is possible but the button is giving me the reverse of expected results. I don’t want to “exclude” the list of functional locations, I want to “include” so just those functional locations appear in the list display. I can’t seem to change the selection criteria to “select” instead of “exclude from selection”.
Is there some other way I can get this list and print it?

Hello experts,
I am facing a peculiar issue. When I create a work order IW31 and populate priority field as say 'very high'. I then say add operation duration etc; release and save the order. Now, when I again open that order IW32, the priority field which earlier said say 'very high' disappears and appear blank. And I have to manually populate this field to again reset to 'very high'. Can someone throw any light on the resolution of this peculiar behaviour of the system.

Background:
Using content management server configured for FileSystemStorage - i.e. files are stored on the server's file system. Therefore, as new files are checked into a DIR, a new sub-directory under the ContRep root will be created.
Condition:
It may be that user will check in incorrect file or need to delete the file from the DIR prior to final release of the DIR.
Our testing and review of CMS server file system shows that ContRep sub-directory is created but is not removed following deleting the DIR file.
As a result, there is a ContRep sub-directory that is not linked to any DIR file.
We are looking for adjustments to configuration to insure that, when DIR file is deleted, the corresponding ContRep sub-directory is deleted also.

We wanted to put some validations for PM Orders but did not find any Validation configuration exculsive for PM like what we have for Project System WBS Elements, Networks etc.
Is there any way we can define validations for PM Orders and Operations.

I have the following problem:
I have a maintenance plant counter base, that it's performed every 30 000 pc. The mechanics performe the preventive maintenance at 30 000 pc after that at 42 000 pc something happens and it's needed a corrective maintenance. Now the new target must be 42 000 + 30 000 = 72 000pc but SAP create at 60 000pc a new preventive maintenance order. For that mechanics needs to reset the counter in order to avoid that situation.
Exists anything standard for performe it automatically??? or What are your suggestions for that activity??

Guys, i need a layout in the iw38 screen that lists the materials alongside the order numbers.....the idea is to identify orders having selected material w/o having to actually open them......
We have a work center created for handling the mainenance work orders and tasks. This work center is linked to a department in our HR system.
However, the manager of that department has left the company, so person responsible in OM is not filled, but is vacant.
Employees who want to make a maintenance notification cannot save the notification, because SAP cannot create a work order due to a missing person responsible. I
I cannot image that the whole process is now stopped, because the postition of the manager is not filled with an employee number. How can I tell SAP to process the order anyway and that the next person in de personell hierarchy is now responsible for the workcenter? Is this a customizing issue?

I'm currently working on setting the plan cost for an ext operation (service) entered in my PM work orders, one of my requirement is to transfer the PO cost (Net or Gross) back to the plan cost of the work order (under the cost tab). I have set the valuation variant ext processing with the following strategy sequence, but I couldn't capture the PO cost back to the work order plan cost. Can you please help me?
Strategy sequence for Ext Processing Valuation Variant:
1. Net Purchase Order Price
2. Gross Purchase Order Price
3. Price from Operation
Costing type used is the standard 05 - maintenance order

Dear Experts,
When I am creating maintenance plan (strategy plan) and scheduling it in IP10 and click on "manual Call" save it , system is not allowing to save the order
and giving below error -
No status object is available for ACT 900051239 0010
Please suggest me what is reason behind it ?

I think there is some SAP note required (please correct me if I am wrong)

Hi,
I've created an LSMW for transaction IW34 (Create Notification Order) using a recording. The LSMW works fine when processed in both Foreground and Display Errors Only.
However, when processed in Background mode, the error messages below are being returned and processing is then terminated:
Notes:
1. Here, '3' is the value being populated into the Priority field (CAUFVD-PRIOK) in IW34.
2. I've also included the error message details below. Note that '3' is definitely already configured as PM Priority in Table T356 (otherwise, running the LSMW in foreground would probably not have worked as well.)
Does anyone have an idea what could be causing this and how the issue can be resolved? I've already tried searching the forum for any similar issues but couldn't find any.

Measurement Documents are not linked to the work order, trying to retrieve using the menu option Extras>Documents for Order> Measurement Documents but it displays as 'No Objects selected' but the measurement documents are displayed when searched using IK17 for the equipment.
Let me know if i have to do any config changes or apply any note.

I am doing SAP PM Work clearance management Configuration. My System is ECC 6.0 EHP 5.
While doing configuration i found that options like Define Work, Define Requirements & View Profiles are not available on my development client.
I want to use these to do configuration. please suggest me how to enable these options.

there are settings like offset, valid from time, validity, extension, Max. extension which are not available in my development client(I can access these settings in IDES), are these settings available only after activating Business Function "LOG_EAM_WCM_1" or is it controlled by something else.
I want these settings to configure Work clearance management. Is there any way to enable these settings.
My Current System is ECC 6.0 EHP5.
Please Suggest me how to enable these settings.

Dear PM expert,
Currently, we are merging one plant to other Ex: plant code 5000 to 9000 in that case,
1) is it possible extend same equipment code (external numbering) to other plant ?
2) There is a option in equipment & Functional location to change maintenance plant, planning plant but is there any way to do mass changes to change plant , planning plant at once for around ten thousand equipment's.
