MRSS: Van stock scenario
We have a MRSS 8.0 system. Issue we have is that we try to complete the van stock scenario. Table /MRSS/C_MAT_RS has been completed with data through tx /MRSS/RESOURCE_STOCK. In the order we have a material and availability check is ok. We now expect that when a resource is searched that the material availability is shown in the sub-screen. However there is no data in this sub-screen. Has any-one out there completed this scenario. If so which steps did you follow. I seem unable to find all the info in the help info or anywhere else on internet.

Basic dates inherited from NWA
Hello,
When I create a work order and assign it to the Network Activity my basic dates are overwritten taken from the NWA.
Now imagine that I am not using SAP scheduling functionality, but need basic original dates that were entered manually.
Is it possible to supress the functionality of automatic dates inheritance from NWA to Work Order?

Warning During Scheduling See log ?

PP Work Centre wise PM Notifications
Hello Experts,
Working on OEE ?(Overall Equipment Efficiency) Report. PP Work Centre wise OEE %age is the purpose.
Three key figures, Availability, Performance and Quality With main characteristic as PP Work Centre.
I am stuck up with PM Notifications against PP Work Centres. Below is the process i followed.
MKPF(Date), MSEG -AUFNR= AFRU AUFNR
AFRU-AUFPL = AFVV- AUFPL
AFVC- AUFPL = AFVC-ARBID
AFVC-ARBID = CRHD- OBJID
CRHD-OBJID = CRTX-OBJID
This way found the PP Work Centre for each order.
Now, i am finding the Link to get the Maintenance , Breakdowns from PM Notifications. Found one Link CRHD-PPSID=VIQMEL-PPSID. This link is working for few Work Centres and not for all.
Alternatively what i did is moved step by step from Notification table VIQMEL to MSEG table based on Notifications created for each functional location.
Here, i found AFVC table has some other AUFPL, this is because different Routing, and Control key , Number Ranges maintained for PM Workcentres.
My Requirement is to link the notifications from Maintenance Work Centre to PP Work Centre and vice versa. In simple, want to get maintenance and breakdown notifications against PP Work Centres.
I have been searching in the forum, but not yet found exact solution. Please answer asap.

Characteristic description at MCI3
Hello,
if I switch the drilldown to planner group at transaction MCI3, the column of planner group shows the keys.
For example: M32
M33
M34...
If I go to Settings-->Characteristic display-->Key and Discription the column of planner group shows following.
M32 M32
M33 M33
M34 M34...
Is it possible to show the description like at SPRO?
For example: M32 Production 1
M33 Production 2
M34 Laboratory...
Because if I switch the drilldown to plant the column shows
1000 Plant Berlin
2000 Plant Hamburg
3000 Plant Munich...

Change Operation Work centers When main Work center changes
Hi PM Experts,
My client wants a change which is not available in standard SAP.
We've maintain main work center in equipment master and this will be default as main work center in the order header when orders is created.
However the requirement is ,
when user manually change the main work center, all the operation work centers is the operation tab has to change automatically to new Work center.
Is there any user exit which I can cater this requirement?

How to define Plant in SAP EAM module?
Hi All,
I have a doubt in EAM as below
A plant named as vsipl, Plant code-0001
There are 4 divisions as
1. DRI (Direct reduce Iron)
2. CPP (Captive Power Plant)
3. Ferro Allawy
4. SMS (Steel melting shop)
Under each division there are some departments as
1. Mechanical department
2. Electrical department
3. Instrumentation department
4. Operation department
There is a common store also available for all.
Now under each division's each department there are several equipment and each concern departments has some concern persons who are taking the decisions and planning all activities and some other grade staffs are executing the operation and maintenance activities.
So my question is how the above plant can be define on SAP EAM module? Can anyone describe it in a form of flow chart ?

framework order in Maint order
Hi , We are planning to use framework order in maintenance order current process Maint Order--> PR --> ME58 t-code to generate service entry sheet.
We dont want to create purchase requistion in between rather direct Service entry sheet is it possible.

Restrict Create PR in Maintenance Order by Work Center
Hi Experts,
My maintenance order will be used by two parties:-
1. Internal - No issues
2. Vendor (I created as work center)
Vendor can only access the MO with their work center (I controlled by using authorization object C_AFRU_APL) for them to reserve spare parts, change user status and TECO.
But how do I restrict vendor from creating PR (Service PR and Non Stock PR) in maintenance order by using authorization and roles not user exit?
Please advise.

material availability check not performing in maintenance order
Hi ,
I have defined checking rule Z1 and assigned scope of check to maintenance order and maintained checking group in material please see attachments. When I run availabilty check it is showing all materials are available even there is no stock.. Please let me know did I miss any setting.

Work Orders Print for only Confirmed Components
Hi All,
There are customer work orders (CS Orders). Currently we bill the customer according to the quotation. Whatever is mentioned is quotation reflects in the bill (for ex 50 spare parts). Now my client says if we only utilize 45 spare parts then the billing should happen for 45 parts only. If we consume 55 then bill must be for 55 parts. And there must be some way to automatically return those remaining 5 spare parts which were issued to customer work order. Actually the requirement is to print the customer order for billing with actual consumed spares. How should I go about it?
