Refurbishment Process in SAP

Hi All,

I would like to understand more regarding refurbishment process in SAP. I have went through SAP documentations and discussions but still couldn't find the answer.

I understood Refurbishment concept repair/fix from malfunction parts into working state. This two different states are defined by valuation type in material master which how we maintain the price different. New Spare parts are keeping in stock for replacement whenever the parts are malfunction, we can replace it immediately.

Then the malfunction parts will be send to Sloc and Refurbishment Order will be created to issue the parts for refurbishment process and return back to SLoc with valuation type C2 (Refurbished). This Refurbished parts will be reused.

Please let me know if my above concept is wrong.

Question:-

1. I create Corrective Maintenance Order since I found malfunction parts during checking. I issue the new spare parts C1 and close the MO and TECO.

But now how to return the malfunction parts to SLoc and after that create Refurbishment Order for internal refurbishment? There is no movement involved for my malfunction parts.

Thank you for your reply.
