Greetings!
We are in a process of optimizing the preventive maintenance program in our plant. We have following scenrio:
- General maintenance task list is created
- Maintenance item is created and the above task list is assigned
- Maintenance item is maintained with 10 functional locations in the object list (to reduce the number of maintenance orders)
The business requirement is:
- Task list has 1 operation activity with duration as 2 hours
- When the maitenance order is generated, it has 1 operation, duration is 2 hours and 10 functional locations in the object list
- However to maintain all the 10 functional locations, the maintenance planner has to manually update the operation duration as 20 hours (2X10)
- Considering the volume of maintenance order handling it would be better to automate this requirement
We are looking at the user exits IWO10015, IWO10016 and IWO10009 to cater to our requirement.
Is there any better solution which you might have come across shall be very much helpful to us. please share with us.
