How to add a P&ID Tag Number

Hi,

I understand that the "P&ID Tag Number is related to a functional location and not to an equipment".

As we know in P&ID unique tag numbers are assigned to every discrete object for identification at site.

My question is how do I assign the actual P&ID Tag number to a Technical Object, i.e. an FLOC (if my first statement is correct).

In addition, if I am able to assign a Tag number to an FLOC, how will I assign Tag numbers to sub-equipments (which will also have Tag nos.) residing under the same FLOC.And if I am able to do so it will be at a variance with my first statement.
