Maintenace plan for creating only one order

I want a maintenance plan to generate an order on a specific date, but no other orders after that.  We want to inspect a building one month prior to the warranty expiration, but will have no need for additional pm orders after that.  We would like to have the order auto-generate rather than creating an order now with a future basic start date or schedule date.  We could just make the plan with a 100 year cycle (since none of us will be here that long), but that seems cheesy.

In addition, what if you wanted a pm plan to generate orders monthly, but only for three years (none thereafter)?  Is there a way to expire a pm plan?
