Changing of Field Description in Std SAP

Hi Experts,

We have a requirement to change the field description in the Equipment Master.We are planned to keep some data in one of the unused text field in the Equipment Master.

I know by taking the acces key we can change the Field Description, but let me know what could be the impact of this in the reports and in any other area.
