I have a question regarding IP30 and the option of 'Rescheduling inc'. The help text on this says that this indicator is set in the standard system and the system therefore reschedules the maintenance plan and ensures that at least one on-hold maintenance call is always available.
The help text goes on to say that if you do not set this inidcator, the system only generates the next on-hold maintenance call if one of the following conditions is met: -
- You have confirmed the maintenance plan in scheduling
- The last maintenance call object is confirmed (either maintenance order or notification is completed or service entry sheet is accepted)
We have a series of Maintenance Plans that lets say are for a period of 6 months only for the monthly inspection of an Equipment with the call object of creating Maintenance Orders only. So lets say that the Maintenance Plan is started on 1st Jan 2013 so we will have a series of maintenance calls for 6 months and the final maintenance call of 1st July 2013 is called. At the end of the 6 months no further maintenance calls should be generated.
If we select the option 'Rescheduling included' am I correct in saying that the Maintenance Plan at the end of the 6 month period is then rescheduled for a further 6 months??
